In Greene County district court Lloyd Earl Dagit, 76, of Jefferson was sentenced to two days in jail after he changed his plea to guilty Aug. 13 to a charge of operating while intoxicated (OWI)-first offense. He must pay a $48 per day sheriff’s fee for the time he serves. He was fined $1,250 with a $437.50 surcharge and a $10 surcharge for drug abuse resistance education. He must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and complete any recommended treatment at his own expense, and he must complete a community college drinking drivers course, also at his own expense. He must pay restitution to be determined for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $100 court costs. A charge of carrying weapons while intoxicated was dismissed. (Sentencing: Honorable Adria A.
